The Mission of the Education Fund (Ed Fund) is to provide Beckman High School with the financial support needed to maintain, enrich and expand the school's educational programs that are not covered by State and District funds.
WHAT DOES BECKMAN ED FUND DO?
Your support makes it possible for the Ed Fund to allocate upwards of $40,000 annually for specific use by requesting Beckman High School departments. In addition to providing materials, the Ed Fund also sponsors very meaningful college readiness programs for students, among them are the Naviance program and the highly popular speaker series that offer valuable educational and college career planning information.
BECKMAN ED FUND vs BECKMAN PTO?
Beckman High School depends on two groups, PTO and Ed Fund, to fund activities and supplies that enhance your child's education. PTO sponsors programs like college readiness/career workshops, student recognition and achievement ceremonies, plus community special events, teacher appreciation and supplies. Ed Fund is responsible for sponsoring Naviance, science equipment, performing arts, and other educational resources. With both groups working together, our students are provided with many opportunities and resources at BHS that they may not otherwise receive.
